Mr. Don Gymnastics coach

Mr. Don started gymnastics at Spizak's Gymnastics and Dance Academy in Phoenix, Az as a young child. He went to several different private clubs after until he began his coaching career at Arizona Sun Rays. After three years of coaching and running a mobile tumble bus program, Don decided to venture on his own, and with the help of family and friends, built his own tumble bus called Flip-N-Go. After many motor rebuilds, he decided the bus was more trouble than it was worth :) Since 1999, He continued his mobile gymnastics program (without the bus) working at preschools throughout the valley and also at the Foundation for Blind Children. That year, Don moved to New River and while checking out the Anthem Community Center, he met Vicki Smith- she was 9 months pregnant. It was perfect timing because when Vicki went on maternity leave, Mr. Don took over the gymnastics program. Mr. Don continued doing the gymnastics program at the Community Center for nearly 9 years, before unforeseen circumstances lead him to this facility - Funtastic Fitness! He loves working with children and sharing his passion of gymnastics with them. He is especially happy to continue working with children here in Anthem, a place he calls home!
